Angela Dore (she/her)
MSW, RSW
I'm Angela (she/her), a social worker, therapist, and proud queer cis woman living with ADHD. I understand how complex identity, masking, and executive dysfunction can be.
I support individuals and couples in building more understanding, connection, and self-compassion. My goal is to offer a space where you don’t have to perform, explain yourself, or have everything figured out before showing up.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in curiosity. I draw from Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy to help clients process difficult experiences, strengthen relationships, and build tools that feel realistic for everyday life.
I work with couples of all relationship structures, especially queer and neurodivergent partnerships navigating communication challenges, conflict, burnout, intimacy, and life stress. Together, we work toward deeper understanding and stronger connection.
A little about me beyond the therapy room:
I’m what I like to call a social introvert. When the sun is out, you'll likely find me on a shady patio or the softball field playing for the same team. I have my very own ADHD hobby graveyard and cycle through baking, embroidery, puzzles, you name it!
I have a bit of an oddball sense of humour and I'm fluent in memes. I'm a millennial therapist, of course I saw that TikTok! So, have a seat on my comfy couch and we'll talk about what it brought up for you.
